What you buy

The Madeira guide is a downloadable English PDF with travel notes, itinerary structure, map links, costs, road notes and personal recommendations from our trip.

The Custom Trip Plan is a personalized research and planning service based on the information you provide, such as departure city, dates, budget, travel style and destination ideas.

Digital guides are supplied as digital content and custom plans are supplied as digital planning documents. Nothing is shipped by post.

Payment and delivery

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details on CDXplore servers.

After a successful payment for a digital guide, Stripe redirects you to a download page where the PDF is made available immediately. You may also contact us if the redirect fails or the download link does not work.

After a successful payment for a custom trip plan, you must send us your trip brief. Delivery time starts once we have the information needed to prepare the plan.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

For the digital guides, this right does not apply once we have made the download available, provided you expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. You give that consent when you accept these terms at checkout. If you do not want to give it, do not complete the purchase — write to us instead and we will arrange delivery another way.

The Custom Trip Plan is a service. The right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed, where performance began at your express request and you acknowledged losing the right upon full performance. If you withdraw after we have started but before delivery, we may retain an amount proportionate to the work already carried out.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Write to us first at contact@cdxplore.com — most issues are solved in a couple of messages.

If we cannot agree, consumers in Romania may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) through its alternative dispute resolution procedure: https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/

Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

Custom planning limits

CDXplore provides travel research and planning support. We do not buy flights, accommodation, tours, rental cars or insurance on your behalf.

Flight prices, availability, visa rules, entry requirements, local conditions and booking terms can change quickly. You are responsible for checking details before booking and for making final booking decisions.

Personal use only

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the PDF for your own trip planning.

You may not resell, upload, share publicly, copy into another product or redistribute the guide without written permission from CDXplore.

Travel information

The guide is based on our personal experience and research at the time of writing. Prices, opening hours, roads, weather, parking rules and local conditions can change.

You are responsible for checking current official information before booking, driving, hiking or visiting any location.

Updates

We may update the guide when we correct issues or improve the content. A purchase does not guarantee lifetime updates unless we say so explicitly on the product page.
